We live in a world increasingly referred to as a psyop; a pseudo reality created by various Elite owned media and technology sectors where very few things are what they appear to be or what we are told they are.  Unfortunately, foreign aid appears to be another of those make believe things.  The American people are a generous people who will actually give their lives for others in far away places, when they are convinced of the need to do so.  The world’s dynastic families, many members of whom are demonstrably pathological, take advantage of that generosity and mis-direct it for profit and political power.  And no I don’t abhor profit.  Free market capitalism is the most generous economic system ever devised, but the United States hasn’t seen capitalism or free markets since at least 1913.

America has a completely Fascist political/economic system (our Constitution is dead) where multinational corporate conglomerates monopolize industries via corrupted government regulation and taxation.  Under this parasitical system, hundreds of billions of dollars, trillions over time in supposed foreign aid through organizations such as USAID are nothing more than cover for transnational monopolies to access various selected countries to rape resources and labor.  Most USAID employees, good decent people, don’t know this.  They think they’re doing something good, and to a limited extent they are; but their real role is cover for monopolized blood money and unbounded monopolized earnings.  The enormous aid capital flows are co-opted, skimming 90% or more off the top to local despots, warlords, banks and the multinationals with barely a crumb or two dropping from the greed table down to the people.  In the center of this human disgrace, Elite families and their pawns wade neck deep in narco dollars, weapon’s dollars, oil dollars, de-population and on and on and on.

Foreign aid programs are often, if not usually, just despicable cover for installing despots and warlords friendly to western multi-nationals in small impoverished countries possessing valuable resources.  CIA, MI6, Mossad and NATO, like cockroaches, are always around to coerce leaders, facilitate another invasion,  civil war or whatever chaos is required to gain access, control and finally rape the wealth.  Debt is the primary tool, whereby the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank coordinate and stipulate strict provisions along with bank loans requiring contracts with various multinationals and aid groups for whom aid is very big, very lucrative business.  The American people, of course, are on the hook via D.C. for paying the big banks back on defaulted foreign loans, which 99%  are – defaulted that is.

“To give food aid to a country just because they are starving is a pretty weak reason”.  {1974 foreign policy statement by Henry Kissinger as U.S. Secretary of State}

In 1993, Bill Clinton announced on the bloody heels of his long-time friend, George H.W. Bush’s OPERATION RESTORE HOPE in oil rich Somalia; “the U.S. military is a force for good”.

Barack Hussein Obama in September of 2009 had his Administration embark on a National Security Strategy of TARGETED KILLING; declared the U.S. was above torture; and instead, simply kidnapped human political/economic obstacles, transferred them to more culturally brutal puppet regimes through a hypocritical policy of cowardice and abuse called rendition.

George W. Bush, in the aftermath of the Oligarchy’s 9/11 attack on America, in his turn coined and strategically married rhetoric such as  “axis of evil” regarding Iraq, Iran and North Korea; “compassionate conservatism”; and of course in his January, 2002 State of the Union Address characterized the “true character of the United States” as demonstrated by the “courage, compassion, strength and resolve” of the American people.  With Main Street on board the national security train, off we went with the misuse of our honored military to Afghanistan and Iraq where we re-vitalized world opium trade and the flow of narco-dollars and more vigilantly protected the financial interests of the Plutocratic BIG BANKING/BIG OIL/BIG WAR money machine.

To better comprehend how our  money supply is tied to foreign aid programs covering for massive third world debt, which equals huge bank profits and guaranteed transnational monopoly contracts in mining, weapons, drugs, farming, food supply or whatever, we will need to digress into the world of banking and central banking.  U.S. imperialism is veiled by sophisticated covers masquerading as compassionate help, which it rarely is, though the propaganda we call news never mention it and the average citizen has no idea at all what’s going on across the globe in the name of their good faith and credit.

Above we see five career criminals, without conscience, integrity or decency acting in tandem exclusively on behalf of the dynastic Oligarchy families whose political/financial interests they not-so-openly represent; regardless of human or environmental consequence.  On top of this moral tragedy in leadership, as though the West Wing of the White House isn’t despicable enough; we further support, unwittingly, this clever imperialism through 435 Members of the House and 100 U.S. Senators, nearly all of whom are fully complicit in appropriating and approving so-called humanitarian funding (read DEBT) (to knock down the doors of sovereign nations) and misuse our military in service of the world’s largest transnational monopolies, all operating above the law of any country.

WHY? HOW IS THIS ACCOMPLISHED?  How can it be so easy to co-opt decent political candidates, turning them into lazy, corrupt, lying, self-aggrandizing, dangerous politicians?

There is one answer to all three questions.  MONEY!
The BIG BANKS  own the politicians.  Period.  The banks control the money supply;  add in a bit of cushy insider trading, favorable press coverage, protected privilege and voila; the big banks own the legislation, regulation and discriminatory tax system – and we the people are reduced to feudal serfs, just as Jefferson predicted more than 200 years ago.

It’s important as American citizens and voters that we understand, every dollar spent by Washington D.C. elected and appointed political pawns is unconstitutionally borrowed from the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.  Not some of the dollars.  Not most of the dollars.  Every dollar.  All the dollars.  Nothing costing money can be proposed or enacted by any politician or bureaucrat in Washington without full and complete co-dependence on BIG BANKS, who in turn own the Federal Reserve System.  The overall scope is much worse than this in terms of banker control of society as the United States has gone beyond mere fiat money to debt money.  Every legal and illegal person residing in the United States today is nothing more than a free-ranging, indebted feudal serf.

To go a bit further down this economic rabbit hole, Mr. Joseph Plummer in his book entitled, “DISHONEST MONEY, Financing The Road to Ruin” states on page 129 (of my paperback edition):  “Every physical dollar, as well as every digital dollar, had to be borrowed into existence.  So long as our entire money supply is made up of this debt money, the bankers are guaranteed to earn interest on every single dollar, every moment it exists.  It also means our debt is inescapable.  To pay off every loan, we’d have to give back every dollar the bankers have created.  This would reduce our money supply to zero… it can’t be done.”

The Big Banks want politicians to spend money as all the money spent is created from thin air and pays interest 365/24/7.  No politician can buy patronage votes without cooperation by the Big Banks to create the money.  Political careers are built on ego, money and lies.  Via fractional reserve banking, which is beyond the scope of this discussion, just let it be understood that this money when spent goes through the commercial banking system where it is multiplied through the 10% or so of required reserves over and over again.  Via this fraudulent system a $100 billion Federal loan or loan to a foreign country quickly increases the money supply by as much as $900 billion – all from thin air and all collecting interest.  The amounts of money we’re briefly touching on here are truly incomprehensible to any decent person.

It’s important to further understand that controlling interest in the BIG BANKS is apparently held by just eight families, four of whom reside outside the U.S.  According to J. W. McCallister, an oil insider connected to House of Saud in his book The Grim Reaper, Saudi bankers informed him that 80% ownership of the New York Federal Reserve Bank (the most powerful Fed bank) are:  the Goldman-Sachs, Rockefellers, Lehmans and Kuhn Loebs of New York; the Rothschilds of Paris and London, the Warburgs of Hamburg, the Lazards of Paris, and the Israel Moses Seifs of Rome.

Per Mr. Dean Henderson’s heavily researched book entitled BIG OIL & THEIR BANKERS IN THE PERSIAN GULF, CPA Thomas D. Schauf corroborates Mr. McCallister’s claim, adding that ten banks control all twelve Federal Reserve Bank branches.  Schauf names N.M. Rothschild of London, Rothschild Bank of Berlin, Warburg Bank of Hamburg, Warburg Bank of Amsterdam, Lehman Brothers of New York, Lazard Brothers of Paris, Kuhn Loeb Bank of New York, Israel Moses Seif Bank of Italy, Goldman Sachs of New York and JP Morgan Chase Bank of New York.  Mr. Schauf further lists William Rockefeller, Paul Warburg, Jacob Schiff and James Stillman as individuals owning huge shares of the Federal Reserve.  The Schiffs are Kuhn Loeb insiders and the Stillmans are with Citibank and married into the Rockefeller family.

Note that Mr. Eustace Mullins in his heavily researched book based largely on Congressional Records held in the Library of Congress, “The Secrets of the Federal Reserve”, also displays ownership charts connecting Fed ownership to member banks and in turn to these same listed families.

I bring all this up as a digression because these eight families in union with many other dynastic families also hold controlling interest in the BIG OIL Companies as well as most Fortune 500 companies.  Their interlocking directorships provide overwhelming control over world resources, events, politics, capital flows and of course, their very handy aid programs; the oft used key to access.  Our Congress and White House serve Oligarchy demands exclusively, though occasionally commit accidental acts of patriotism or enact good deeds for Main Street.

We need only look through the bloody repetitive history of dozens of countries to see the oft used Oligarchy play book and coordinated roles played by intelligence organizations, multinational conglomerates, aid groups, our politicians, misused military and finally, the banks – ultimate puppet masters wantonly planting seeds of destruction, pulling the strings of war, feeding the gluttonous grasp for wealth and power accumulation.  Entire nations of people such as Afghanistan, Argentina, Chile, Congo, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Panama, Somalia, South Vietnam, Venezuela, Yugoslavia and dozens more have been devastated without recourse by the world’s Established Oligarchy and their conscienceless pawns.

Unwittingly, the poorly informed American people are largely unaware of this horrible abuse perpetrated in their good name by the Elite and their thugs.

The pathological BANKING/OIL/WAR BUSINESS MODEL is frightening in its parasitic global scope.  It’s time American citizens wake up and demand their politicians stop serving this merciless agenda.  Not purchasing products or services from multi-national conglomerate monopolies, dumping the Federal Reserve Criminal Enterprise and NEVER voting for incumbent politicians would be a good start.

Governments, agencies or departments within governments tend uniformly to fail over time relative to their intended purpose, designed culture and mission.  This phenomena is not peculiar to government, but occurs within all sorts of organizations.  Oftentimes, the organization doesn’t fail, it morphs into something not intended or foreseen; sometimes into something poisonous.  As governments grow in size, bureaucracy and centralized power, they consistently tend toward poisonous.  This is inarguable historic fact.

Surely, we can all list dozens of potential causes effecting organizational failure and/or loss of cultural vision, particularly in the case of governments; but one seemingly innocuous cause is time coupled with human moral fraility.  (Maybe that’s two causes?)  Father Time can mend and heal, but also accommodates the breeding of other things; many positive; some much less so.

As an analogy, let’s suppose  ourselves and a few friends agree to form a group for community support and out-reach.  Our exciting mission is helping those in the city who are less fortunate; bolstering local education; nurturing small business growth; cultivating the creation of good jobs; and fostering prosperity.  We’ll call this new civic organization The Group and it’s committed to making Our City a better place to live.  Heck, we’ll make Our City the best place to live in the country.  There’s a noble goal.

Let’s assume The Group is successful beyond anything imagined. Over the years, Our City becomes an incredible place to live with beautiful parks, play grounds for kids, superior schools guided by active parents, a thriving business and medical community, a burgeoning arts and music center, etc.  Over this same time of course, we the original founders of The Group retire, move away, pass away and so forth.  New leaders are elected and/or appointed and The Group carries on.  The Group becomes well established, revered, respected and becomes a critical component of Our City’s successful reputation as a desirable place to raise a family or start a business.  Membership in The Group is highly regarded and The Group has now developed internal amenities such as salaries for top members, profitable insider business connections in banking, real estate,  land development, other business partnerships, etc.  Our City is a happy, happy place.  Those who do good for others are handsomely rewarded in Our City.

The Group was born in the spirit of responsible service to aid and bolster its community and attracted honorable civic leaders who served faithfully with integrity.  By its first centennial, however, The Group became so notably prominent and self possessed; membership so important that service became privilege and those people attracted to leadership tended to be pathologically addicted to wealth, influence and power with a peculiar focus toward benefiting important friends and insider connected special interests to the exclusion of all else, regardless the cost to their community.  The Group spiritually lost its way and with that loss, its purpose.

One day a small conflict developed.  The Owner of the restaurant where The Group leadership began and has met every other Thursday evening for decades, quietly suggests that The Group is taking up too many parking spaces, is causing inconvenience to other restaurant clientele and would they please consider holding meetings somewhere more appropriate?  This doesn’t sit well with The Privileged Group leadership, who at this point feel entitled, are full of self importance and so the turf war begins, quickly mushrooming into a major city battle, splitting the City Council into factions and spilling over into property disputes and power struggles over non-related issues involving who was getting what contracts or making how much money from this or that project.  You can imagine the rest of the divided story with its self righteous political in-fighting and justified greed.

What slowly happened to Our City over time is the transference of opinion, intent and power from a multifaceted group of independent individuals – say a balance of power, to a centralized civic organization demanding compliance with its by-laws and allegiance to its prevailing, now dominant views.  The Group now defends itself as its first priority; and its mission, its reason for existing in the first place has vanished. A relative few insiders now control Our City , through The Group and interconnected private relationships, setting the priorities, while tax paying property owners are left with no voice; divided, ready to be harvested by Group Members and their friends for money, votes or both.  The few now operate as a cartel for their own isolated, monopolized interest and Our City begins its long descent into mandated mediocrity and the expensive corruption typically fostered by monopolized (centralized) power everywhere.

The Federal government of the United States, founded as a well intended, self-governing civic organization (a group) of elected and appointed officials has now degraded to a privileged RULING CLASS GROUP controlled and operated by an UNSEEN, UNELECTED, UNIDENTIFIED ELITE GROUP of international financiers and inbred pathological robber barons.  We the people of Main Street, Useless Eaters as Bertrand Russell so eloquently referred to us, are a cheap commodity bred, fatted and conditioned for our productivity and hard working wealth creation to be harvested by the Elite Oligarchy for their own use and amusement.  Sounds like Feudalism or Slavery doesn’t it?  That’s because it is and we gullibly vote for it under the sweet sounding guise of “the public good”; so no cattle cars, walls, concertina wire or unseemly guards are necessary for transference of our birth right, our created abundance to the self-entitled Elite through their Socialist and Fascist systems, which we are told are best for us.  The Collectivist sales pitch advertises generous wealth re-distribution from the 1% to the poor; but in reality the poor receive crumbs in return for patronage votes enabling the Elite – high above the 1% –  to siphon off wealth from the productive middle class, not for the poor, but through fraudulent government programs supposedly for the poor to themselves in thousands of different ways through dozens of corrupt money laundering agencies.  Our $4 trillion per year Federal government is absolutely unmonitored, unmanaged and out-of-control.  It is organized crime whose daily operation is funded by American tax payers for their own wealth confiscation. A truly amazing system the statist, Elite owned media never goes near, identifies or mentions.

The only forces holding any group together over time, keeping it on task, are its founding principles and common goals, together with the honor and integrity of its leadership and members.  As vigilance falls off, those principles fall into disregard and the group becomes unpredictably driven by every so-called good idea, popular whim or worse yet – is mis-used by myopic bandits intent on self gratification and/or pleasing those higher up the food chain for future self benefit.  The heavy anchor of principle, once cut away, allows the ship to drift aimlessly, potentiality caught on the currents of divergent, conflicting power mongering and destructive greed. Government becomes a plaything and a cookie jar for the powerful.  This process of principle degradation over time is one reason why individual imagination and liberty are so important to self-governance and why personal integrity and honor are so critical to that imagination and liberty.  As long as individual liberty is cherished and protected by honorable citizens, the balance of power is insured regardless how messy or inconvenient.  Transference of individual power to a centralized entity always enables group power to surge out of control as it loses focus and morphs its values over time.  It enables the few to easily manipulate and control the many.  Free market capitalism engenders and nurtures the many and obfuscates the greedy few, even when abused.  Free markets are anarchy with rules nurturing equal opportunity when protected by responsible citizens.  Centralized Socialism and Fascism on the other hand, embolden the few insiders at the top, reward their ruling class thugs and kills all Main Street opportunity while strangling individual opportunity and freedom; all at the expense of the many and  in every recorded instance of history.

A healthy, de-centralized balance of power such as our now defunct Constitutional Republic is nearly impossible to upset when independent minded, imaginative individuals generously work together as in the original Group or our larger American Community.  Domination by one or a few is nearly impossible.  Whenever power becomes centralized in any democratic styled organization, abuse of power, control of resources and tyranny are enabled and history repeatedly shows the entitled few will trample the many, usually in the name of the public good or maybe for the children.

The historic life expectancy for previous Republican forms of government leading to failure, chaos and tyranny has been around 200 years.  The United States is now 240 years old and is listing badly to port; her steering in the hands of corrupt, delusional ruling class fools without allegiance, honor or understanding of the original principles upon which America was founded.  The Elite International Group now owns and operates our government through “K” Street carrots and back room sticks, without any real Main Street Representation and has been doing so since 1913, if you’d like to pick a year.  We, as more or less dis-interested, apathetic citizen voters routinely vote for so-called D.C. Representatives, organized crime wise guys really,  who are not only bought and paid for by special monopoly interests of the Elite, but many of whom are pathologically ill to boot.  I doubt most so-called Representatives in the House, Senate or White House are necessarily sociopathic, but they are pathologically ill in that they openly demonstrate the lack of ability to experience empathy, compassion or conscience in the way most Main Street people do.  This is why they so easily lie, pander, openly accept bribes and daily enable fraud, extortion, war and other evils, all justified as an entitled matter of course and always in the name of our overall public good.

Washington D.C. has degenerated since its inception into the organized crime capital of the world; the greatest money laundering operation ever seen on earth; ruled  by unseen Elite Dons of International Monopoly Finance, unconstitutionally managed by Corrupt Elected Pawns of the Elite Dons with enforcement thuggishly carried out by less entitled, though privileged, bureaucratic ruling class goons – all financed by the confiscated (progressive taxation) productivity and wealth of Main Street Americans and made possible via our uninformed, apathetic Main Street votes.  Our children’s birth right as granted by Divine Providence and once recognized by our precious Constitution, protected by the balance of power in three branches of government has vanished.  Its skeletal structure remains, but no longer breathes.  What we frequently and euphemistically refer to as incompetence or government waste is actually outright fraud, but to admit to this obscenity requires we recognize our own lack of vigilance and failure to responsibly self govern…so we look the other way…and tell each other that’s how it is.  The legacy we bequeath our children is irresponsibility, cowardice and dishonor – but we can change this.  It’s not a foregone conclusion.  We do not have to accept it.  We can refuse to participate in this inhuman charade.

If we as citizens continue accepting today’s pathologically ill, practiced career criminals as our malfeasant leaders openly set on bankrupting and destroying our supposedly self-governed Federal government for whatever incomprehensible agenda they work for; we can hardly expect anything positive for Main Street to develop and ought not be surprised when it doesn’t.  The pathologically ill miscreants now unconstitutionally ruling and  mis-managing our nation’s business, mis-using our precious armed forces as a private Elite police force for evil resource wars are not the problem.  We the people voting for carnivorous lunatics addicted to power and money over and over again are the problem.  Until we ourselves change within, start to pay attention and demand honesty in government, nothing can change.  We can be mad at R’s and D’s, but they are not the problem either.  No political leader, no pathetic R or D pawn, pathologically ill or not, can or will fix our broken country and restore our rapidly disappearing Constitutional freedoms and potential for peace and prosperity.  Our country belongs to we the people and we the people are 100% responsible for it – good, bad or otherwise.  We ourselves are the only force in this world who can fix what’s broken in the United States — but we will first have to recognize its brokenness, our own role in it and then choose to right its course to ORIGINAL PURPOSE and OPPORTUNITY, not for ourselves, but for the well being and the peace of future generations the world over.  It is a personal choice.

Poverty, famine, ill-health, dis-education, mediocrity, resource wars, imprisonment and lack of opportunity are all political choices.  There is more than enough wealth in the United States and the world for everyone and more can easily be created – but this cannot and will not materialize until we the people in America and across the world decide to take back individual responsibility for our own destiny, bolster one another generously and say NO to Mr. Global, his insane pawns and their hideously evil ideas.

Here, in a blog shell, is the 1600 Watch Common Sense Health Care Proposal in less than 800 words.

1.  Allow all health insurance providers to sell health insurance plans across state lines to all individuals.  Let employers opt out of the employer provided insurance nightmare, dump the group concept and establish a single countrywide group of 313,000,000 people.  This will end government protected INTRAstate health insurance monopolies and will foster competition.

2.  Promote the establishment of private, free market, individual, named HEALTH CARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS for all people in all states and educate young people as to the benefit of making small annual contributions toward their more elderly expenses each year.

3. Encourage health insurance providers to offer and consumers to purchase plans that do not include coverage for everyday primary care (family) medicine.

4.  Encourage health insurance providers to offer and consumers to purchase catastrophic health insurance coverage for the big stuff, for specialists and for expensive lab work.  By eliminating or at least reducing provider liability for small stuff, reasonable premiums will be more able to cover the big stuff.

5.  Encourage Doctors and clinics to offer direct pay services (concierge services) to their patients on a monthly fee (retainer) basis for all day to day primary care services with only a small office visit fee per visit.  (The office visit should not be free so as to discourage overwhelming clinics with trivial concerns.)  This monthly fee can include an additional opt-in or voluntary monthly contribution to assist Doctors and clinics in providing services to those who simply cannot afford to pay.

Note that existing direct service medical plans in Tennessee and other states, including pharmacies are already being successfully offered around the country at fees ranging from $50 to $200 per month.  Prescriptions typically costing as much as $250 can and are being offered for less than $15 through these same private plans.  Go figure.

6.  Establish a Medicaid style Federal  health insurance coverage fund to be administered through each state.  This Federal fund would provide as much as $400 per month toward premiums to each of the 15,000,000 or so persons who would like health insurance coverage and cannot get it; and can also cover the high risk pool.  Obviously, our concept does not include illegal aliens.  This fund would cost tax payers approximately $72 billion annually – $720 billion over ten years – and solves the access-cost dilemma for the less fortunate.  It’s an expensive socialist solution, but there may be no way around that at this point with 10,000 persons per day turning 65 years of age in the U.S. and realizing that more than 90% of all health care costs are typically incurred in the final decade of life.

7.  Other than the Federal health insurance coverage fund, all Federal government involvement and intervention in health care, including Medicare and Medicaid shall be eliminated.  The Veterans Administration would still provide services and hospitals for our veterans under its own program, but obviously this program should be contracted out to more cost effective private medical service providers along with actually providing adequate funding for our military medical services.

There you have it on one page.  Real solutions do not require 2,700 pages of law creating nearly 160 new Federal agencies, backed up by nearly 30,000 pages of regulatory insider crony spaghetti.

Political Comment:
Allow private free markets and consumers to deal with pre-existing conditions and caps for terminal illness and radical hospitalization expenses.  An actual free market will quickly sort it out through honest competition for consumers who provide the revenue stream for business success anyway.

Proponents of universal single payer government controlled health care insist that private free markets have failed the health care consumer in the United States. We ought take note of the fact that as established by 2011 CMS data, 36% of all U.S. health care costs are carried directly by government through Medicare and Medicaid.  53% of U.S. health care costs are borne through private health insurance and are under the central planning control of the Federal government established intrastate monopolies; or as some might call it – government protected PRICE FIXING.

In other words, 36% plus 53%, which totals 89% of all U.S. health care costs in 2011 involved Federal government control either directly or indirectly.  Only a seriously retarded victim of public school conditioning, robbed of their once bright future can call this a free market with a straight face.  THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT HAVE FREE MARKETS IN HEALTH CARE INSURANCE IN 2013.  PERIOD.  DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE.

Federal government intervention is the DIRECT cause of MOST cost and access problems in American health care.  More government intervention will worsen the problem.  Private free markets have always been and will always be the correct, most competitive, most cost effective solution.  Please don’t swallow the thought conditioned delusion of academic simpletons who live apart from and without accountability to the real world we must live in.

ANSWER: YES!
Collectivism in any guise is based on the general idea or MYTH that many can better take care of the few than the few can take care of themselves.  It’s warm and fuzzy; feels good;  makes for wonderfully disingenuous sound bites;  and in all of human history has not only, never worked, but ALWAYS leads directly to OVERBEARING government coercion.   In extreme cases the coercion is followed by outright abuse of power, imprisonment, torture, starvation and murder of the very same citizens the system was supposedly going to help.

I am aware of no exception to this general collectivist scenario, though admittedly there are degrees of coercion and the time to collapse is variable.  Somehow, under socialism, the Elite insiders and their obedient Ruling Class – that is to say the FEW – always end up controlling the MANY – just opposite the false promise.

Setting aside the murderous abuses found with extreme cases such as Russia, China, Cuba, Cambodia, etc.: the question becomes, WHY can’t socialist, centrally planned programs ever work – even when intentions are good?

Marxism / socialism / collectivism cannot and do not work for one very simple reason.  EVERY PERSON BORN, DIES.  It’s that simple and no ideology can change it.

All the ideology in the world;  the most complicated algorithms in the world;  the biggest hearts in the world;  cannot change the fact that every person born will die.  We are stuck with a one to one (1:1) ratio in the matter of physical life versus physical death.  On planet earth, within the construct of the physical world as we know it; each life converges on its own death.  Therefore, the many become the few over time and Nanny State ARITHMETIC simply does not work.

Regardless how the collectivist program is envisioned and structured; regardless the good or bad intentions; the population demographic ultimately converges on 1:1.  Now, since we have always, at least so far on earth, had some number of folks living – we don’t actually reach 1:1, which would be extinction.  However, as we approach 4:1; then 3:1 and finally 2:1; the wonderfully envisioned Nanny State system fails – every time.  It cannot survive itself.

All Nanny State concepts such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, etc. fall victim to this convergence and are unsustainable because of it.  There is no methodology or ideology able to overcome the physical reality of life converging on death for every person born on earth.

As an example, the link below shows the population statistics of America’s Social Security program from 1970 through 2011.  Please realize that all collectivist style programs fall victim to the ebb and flow of population growth and ultimately fail for this same reason.

SS From 1970 – 2011

You’ll notice from the chart that in 1945 there were 41.9 workers contributing to the system for each beneficiary.  By 1970, just 25 years later, the system declined to 3.6 workers contributing for each beneficiary.  In 2010 we were down to 2.9 workers per beneficiary.  In comparing rates of population growth and decline across the globe, we find variation in growth rates, but the differences are not significant.  We also find localized discontinuities resulting from war, famine, disease, etc., but these are also insignificant over time.  The fact is – every person born, dies; and neither politics nor socioeconomic theories change that.

Even leaving birth and death aside, let’s keep it simple.  Say a community has a total of 100 police and firemen employed.  They set up a retirement program whereby each worker will contribute 5.00% of their income toward the retirement and health care of 20 fellow police and firemen, now retiring.  Looks great.  Years later, the 100 police and firemen are ready to retire.  To support all 100 of them at the  same contribution rate of 5.00%, the community will need 2,000 police and firemen contributing.  When the 2,000 retire, at the 5.00% contribution rate, 40,000 working police and firemen will be needed to support those retired.  Since there will never even be 2,000 working police and firemen, the contribution rate must be upped to impossible levels.  The workers cannot support the non-workers.  Each must take steps to support him or her self.

Nanny State programs are simply not mathematically viable nor sustainable.  We can tweak them and argue about this or that improvement, but after four generations – the population gig is up, reality comes a’ knockin’ and the program fails.  This fact is not arguable;  it just is.

The sustainable alternative to inevitable Nanny State failure is, of course, free market capitalism and individual self sufficiency to the maximum extent possible.  Capitalism is basically anarchy with rules and it works.  As governments grow;  freedom, self sufficiency and personal sustainability decline.  The Constitutional Republic of the United States bolsters free markets and the individual pursuit of excellence.  This system has provided more opportunity for more people and lifted more people out of poverty and hopelessness than any socioeconomic system in world history.  Period.  That is historic fact.  There is no other country or group of countries, or any other system that has created more wealth for more people than has the United States of America with its Constitutional recognition of human unalienable rights.

The arithmetic of population clearly demonstrates that abandonment of the individual to the collective ultimately fails everyone every time.  The only sustainable solution is maximum self sufficiency, whereby, the few disabled and helpless can easily be accommodated and cared for by the spiritually healthy, freely self sustained.

Russia and its collective Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R.) collapsed in less than three painful generations (Assuming a generation to be 25-years.) from 1917 to 1989; after starving and murdering more than 40 million people to force their doomed system in place.  China starved and murdered more than 60 million to establish their brutally failed system and now is turning to a limited form of state-capitalism in an effort to save itself from a second revolution and collapse.  More than 75% of the Chinese people have received zero benefit from Communism and live in abject, utterly hopeless poverty, though remain conveniently out of sight through efforts of the Globalist media, conditioned socialists all.  Europe is headed for the same demise as most European countries are already flirting with bankruptcy, but at a slightly slower rate as Europe has not gone to full on Communism, or 100% government.

It is imperative for the American middle class to realize that the current Nanny State track of the United States government leads to disaster.  It is not a question of “IF”, but “WHEN” we fail and the arithmetic shows that four generations is about the sustainable limit.  We the Baby Boomers are the third generation and we are beginning to fail.  Proceeding stubbornly and ignorantly down this same collectivist path yields our children, the fourth generation, a future of certain poverty and chaos.

Capitalism and Constitutional Republics can be tweaked and improved.  Socialism is simply doomed to arithmetic failure.

A program like the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) can never be fixed.  Delaying it cannot fix it.  Remodeling it cannot fix it.  The entire concept is simply ludicrous with 10,000 people per day turning 60 years of age and with 95% of all lifetime medical expenses typically incurred during the final decade of life.

Survival of the American Dream requires facing reality.  It requires responsible voters who will elect Representatives having the intestinal fortitude to deal with real life and not get caught up in some cowardly utopian farce masquerading as caring.  The Dream only lives for our children and grandchildren if we ourselves have the courage and forseight to live the Dream ourselves.  Collectivism is not a dream.  Collectivism is a nightmare.
